The Play’s the Thing – Episode 64

The Play’s the Thing was the eleventh episode of Quantum Leap’s fourth season to air, with Sam trying to keep his elderly lover away from her caring family and a wealthy suitor. In this episode Gerry and Iain discuss high stakes and consequences.

Sam tries to persaude the entourage not to whisk Jane back to Cleveland before she’s had a chance to see whether she can make it as a singer.

The Play’s the Thing was directed by Eric Laneuville, his only Quantum Leap. The writer was Beverly Bridges, the last of her five scripts for the show.
