Sam leaps into Jack Stone, a senior police officer, during a live operation. Discovering the mangled body of Janice DeCaro triggers terrifying flashbacks into Stone’s childhood trauma, which Sam struggles to deal with.
With little support from his colleague Pam Roselli (Joycelyn O’Brien), Sam looks to Dr. Mason Crane (Alan Scarfe), a psychiatrist who was treating Janice and her husband, Peter (Tim Ahern), for answers. This decision leads him closer to the truth of the murder than he ever expected.
Dreams was directed by Anita W. Addison, the first of her two episodes at the helm, and written by co-creator Deborah Pratt.
In this episode Gerry and Iain considered the power of mind over matter.
